Premium content and payments

What is premium content?

Premium content are channels that require payment to access. Some premium channels may have a preview episode available for you to listen before purchasing.

Note that you have to be logged in to be able to buy items or access your previously bought items!

How do I purchase premium content?

Premium channels can not be added to your playlist until purchased, nor can their episodes be downloaded or listened. Purchasing premium channels works like any other online shopping site - first add the item(s) you wish to purchase to your shopping cart, then follow the checkout procedure to pay for it via credit-card, EFT, or any other accepted payment method.

How can I access my purchased content?

You can always view a list of purchased items in your payment history page (under your account page). Once purchased, these channels can be added to your playlist, listened online or downloaded similar to other free channels.

Note that premium content channels can not currently be followed via RSS, but all the other forms of access works.

Is there a time limit to access my purchase?

No, currently once you've paid for a channel you can access it at any time. In the future we may introduce subscription-based channels, but these will be clearly indicated as such.

Are the files encrypted?

No, none of our episode files contain any kind of encryption or DRM. We believe this provides the best usability and convenience for our users and we hope they reward us by not making their purchased content available to others. Note that Iono Broadcasting reserves the right to embed unique tokens in the file metadata, but we will never insert any of your private information into these files.

Can I share my purchased content with friends or family?

You are allowed to download your episode files and use them on all digital devices that you own, including mobile phones, MP3 players and tablets.

You are not allowed to share them with others!

Our files are not protected in any way as a convenience to our users, so please support our content providers by not copying these files for your friends - rather refer them to our site.

We will always strive to keep our prices as low as possible to provide great value for your money.

What if I'm not happy with my purchase, can I return it?

Yes you can ask for a refund.  Send an e-mail to including the e-mail address you use on as well as the name of the item you want refunded. will refund your purchase and remove your access to the content.  

Note that reserves the right to withhold a refund if you waited for more than 7 days from date of purchase to request the refund, or if you've listened to more than 20% or one hour of the purchased content, whichever is the least amount.
