# Unlisted show (channels)

## What are unlisted shows ?

"Unlisted shows" is a feature that can be used to publish podcast content that is publicly available, but requires users to have the a direct link to the content page or listen via an embedded player.

## How is an unlisted show different ?

- **Provides no RSS feed**
- Are excluded from lists and search results on our website
- Prevented from being indexed by search engines (via the `noindex` tag)
- Embedded players do not link to their content pages
- Embedded players do not include a "Download" link
- Web pages provides no "Download" or "Share" features

❗ The "unlisted shows" features does **not** provide any access restriction based on user logins.

## Getting started

Unlisted shows are available on all "Pro" packages and above.

1. To create unlisted shows, first the account owner must add additional "Unlisted shows" under the [account](/v1/docs/publisher-dashboard-account)'s podcasting subscription.
2. When creating a new podcast show, admins can select to make the show "Unlisted". This cannot be changed later.

Except the listed limitations, unlisted shows are managed exactly like normal podcast channels.

## Cost

Unlisted shows are invoiced individually and the per show (channel) price is based on the active podcast package.

See the [pricing page](https://iono.fm/pricing) for more details.
