Send Now Playing metadata to TuneIn

In addition to syndicating a radio stream via TuneIn, publishers can also enable iono.fm to send their Now Playing metadata to TuneIn. This allows TuneIn to display Now Playing information to listeners on their apps.

Request information from TuneIn

To enable this integration we require 3 fields that are provided by TuneIn:

1. The assigned StationID, something like s1234.

💡 The station ID can be found at the end of the URL a station page on tunein.com. For example, the station ID for tunein.com/radio/tuneinstation-s####/ would be s####.

2. The Partner ID and Partner Key.

Publishers need to contact TuneIn at tuneinonair@tunein.com with their station id and manually request access to the Partner ID and Key.

Update iono.fm stream

Once these values are available, visit the "Streaming" page of the publisher dashboard, and click "Stream settings" to edit it's details.

Under the "TuneIn Metadata" section enter the correct details and save the stream to enable the integration.
